A Belated Happy Children’s Day to SCAS
Maxar Volunteers at Science Centre
MAXAR together with it’s student volunteers from the NTU hall of residence 8recently spent a belated childrens day with children from our adopted charity, the SCAS! A total of 54 volunteers turned up for the event (thank you volunteers!!) and over 100 children from SCAS were present for the science centre event on the 2nd of October 2009! The children and volunteers from SCAS had a day of fun filled events such as watching a movie in the OMNI theatre, having magic shows by an awesome magician and building paper bag bears! We hope all volunteers enjoyed yourselves with the children as much as we did! Once again, Maxar would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the volunteers who sacrificed their precious recess week holiday to come inspire joy and happiness into those who are less fortunate!
